Supporting Hong Kong Athletes with Disabilities

On 10 August 2025, we celebrate the dedication of Hong Kong athletes with disabilities who compete internationally not only for medals, but to share hope and courage. Each competition is an opportunity to send a powerful message: regardless of physical limitations, the spirit’s capacity is boundless.

Words and actions matter. A smile, a word of encouragement, or simple recognition can spark confidence in others and help them pursue their dreams. The influence of these athletes extends beyond sport — their conduct inspires families, communities, and future generations.

I am honoured to serve as their communication and soft-skills mentor through Spark Image Consultancy, founded by May Chan. I invite everyone to use their words and actions to amplify this positive message so more people can believe, “I can.” Let us stand together to support their dreams and celebrate their achievements.
